A two hundred year old Georgian residence, The Harbour Masters House is situated on the banks of the Grand Canal.

All rooms are en-suite. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped with all modern conveniences and comforts. Oil-fired central heating and open fires. The beautiful manicured gardens provide an area for intimate restful tranquility. Fishing, boating and pubs are all within 50 meters in the lovely village of Shannon Harbour. Boats, engines and bicycles are available for hire locally.

Tourist attractions closeby include the monastic ancient settlement of Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle, Heritage Museum, Slieve Bloom Mountains, boat trips, golf, pitch and putt, excellent coarse fishing, and up to 200 cruisers to admire in the canal in front of the house.
