WELCOME TO OUR HOSTEL - Madras Hostel located ideally in Asoke Din Daeng Road, right in the heart of Bangkok business, commercial and the Ratachada entertainment area. It is easily accessible from the Bangkok new Suvarnabhumi Airport and other parts of the city by the Tollway. By taxi it will take you approx. 25 mins from the airport and 15mins drive to 2 major shopping mall the Carrefour Ratchada and the Robinson Ratchada. And to Silom, the business district and Sukhumvit shopping and entertainment area, it will takes you approx. 35 mins. It is the ideal place for business and leisure travellers alike.
Local bus transport is just a short walk from the hostel and taxis are available readily in minutes. The Phra Ram 9 MRT station (in front of Fortune IT Mall) is about 15 mins walk from our hostel and from there you can take the train to the Sukhumvit MRT station which is link to the Asok (E4) BTS skytrain station.
Direction to Madras Hostel:
Take the metered taxi from the airport terminal taxi stand located in the basement of the arrival hall. Request the driver to go by the Bangna Trad Motorway and head toward Rama IX road, Ramkhamhaeng Road and to Asoke Din Daeng Road. After passing past the Sanyo showroom and the Toyota showroom, you will see the Cleopatra Spa and Massage Centre. Slightly ahead, you will see a statue of the Four Face Buddha at the entrance of the carpark. Turn into this carpark and you will see our Hostel on your right side. The metered fare will cost approx. Baht 180 plus the airport taxi surcharge of another Baht 50 will comes up to approx. Baht 230. At certain hours, there will be a slight traffic jam along Rama IX road and Ramkhamphaeng Road but if you are willing to pay the toll charge for the Tollway, you can ask the driver to change to the Tollway midway and exit at the Rachadapisek exit and head toward Asoke Din Daeng Road.
