Macauss territory consists of the peninsula of Macau and two islands, Taipa and Coloane. From the two islands, Taipa is probably the most interesting one. Besides some nice beaches where you can relax from the gambling and hustle and bustle of Macau city, there is an old church to visit and a few temples, such as the Tin Hau. There is one museum, the Taipa House Museum, dedicated to the way the Portuguese lived in the Macau at the beginning of the 20th century.
