Recently refurbished in traditional middle-eastern furnishings Mara House is unique among your accommodation choices in Egypt. Your bedroom is either a single, twin or double room in a one or three bedroomed suite. Each suite has it's own bathroom and private sitting room.

Our Salahadeen Restaurant provides a traditional, authentic 4 course Egyptian Feast every night at 8pm in luxurious surroundings and the Salahadeen fully-licensed bar opens at 6pm.

The rooftop coffee-shop/bar where breakfast is served is open from 8am to midnight. For anyone leaving earlier breakfast is served in your suite at your requested time

We give no commission to the touts at the train station, who do their best to divert people to their clients' hotels usually by fooling visitors into believing they have been sent to meet them. On receipt of your booking we email you asking for your arrival details and you will be met by a house employee carrying a sign saying 'Mara House'.
