Bamenda is a city with over 100,000 inhabitants. Located between the hills it has a great climate. Bamenda can be reached by road from Yaounde by road. Although the city does have its own airport this is rarly used and flights are very irregular.

The countryside around Bamenda is dotted with Tea plantages and is ideal for hiking. About an half hours drive from the city Lake chad is a nice daytrip.
